On 13.05.2025, a mobile court was conducted in Patiya Upazila of Chattogram district. In this mobile court:

  1. Shah Akhtaria Food Products, Naikhain, Patiya, Chattogram
    The establishment was fined Tk. 10,000 under Section 24(1)/41 of the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 2018 for selling packaged products (bread, cake, biscuits) without obtaining a packaging registration certificate from BSTI.

  2. Noor Bakery & Confectionery, Patiya Bus Stand, Patiya, Chattogram
    The establishment was fined Tk. 10,000 under Section 24(1)/41 of the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 2018 for selling packaged products (biscuits, cakes) without obtaining a packaging registration certificate from BSTI.

The mobile court was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Plaban Kumar Biswas, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate (Land), Patiya, Chattogram.
Mr. Sajib Chowdhury, Inspector (Metrology), BSTI Divisional Office, Chattogram, served as the prosecutor in the court.
